Powered by a high-performance 24 HP Kawasaki FR730V V-Twin engine, this mower offers the necessary torque and reliability to handle large residential acreages or demanding commercial properties. It features a massive 61-inch fabricated 10-gauge steel cutting deck, constructed with a reinforced leading edge and double-plated spindle mounts to ensure long-lasting durability and a clean, precise cut in varying grass conditions.

What truly sets the Ferris 500S apart is its patented 4-point full suspension system. Equipped with a front pivoting axle with adjustable coil-over shocks and a rear swingarm setup with independent coil-over shocks, the machine dampens vibrations and smooths out uneven terrain. This system allows the operator to maintain higher mowing speeds comfortably, minimizing body fatigue during extended operations. Power is transferred to the ground via dual commercial-grade Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transaxles, which include integrated 7-inch cooling fans to repel debris and maintain optimal operating temperatures.
